Mr. Gueck graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 1963. Since then he has practiced primarily in the areas of civil litigation, bankruptcy and appeals in all state and federal courts throughout Texas and Colorado.

Jay began his career in Denver, Colorado, in 1963. He was a partner in his own law firm before becoming a Federal Bankruptcy Judge in 1982. After stepping down from the bench in 1986, he moved to Dallas, Texas, where he has been practicing law since.
